Listings do NOT automatically move to SOLD status – you are required to input the status change within 48 hours of the actual close of escrow (and ensure all of the sales detail is correct). When you fail to input the SOLD status change, the listing appears with an asterisk next to the status (i.e., P* or B*) until 5 days after the projected closing date, at which time, it is moved to Autosold (S*). The asterisk indicates that you have not performed the required input. MRMLS sends courtesy reminder emails to you before the projected close date. If you are not getting these emails, check your spam filters and ensure that you have an email address entered on all of your listings (under the Office/MLS page of the Add/Edit module).

 • Failure to update the status of a listing within 48 hours after the reported Estimated COE/End date will result in a violation being issued.

To avoid a violation you must either:
 • Manually Update your status -or-
 • Manually Extend your Estimated COE/End date within this 48 hour time frame.

The system will allow you up to 5 days after the Estimated COE/End date to make changes to your listing. Making Changes beyond the 48 hour required will not absolve you of a violation. At the end of the 5 days, the Auto Sell feature will automatically set the listing status to Sold, at which time you will have to contact the Compliance Department at 310-326-3010 to make the necessary corrections.
